Premature Ejaculation Terminology
Intravaginal Ejaculatory Latency (IELT) - The average time it takes a male to ejaculate while having sex with a female partner (the time between the start of vaginal intromission and the period of intravaginal ejaculation).
PC Flutter - This method recquires one to squeeze and release one’s PC muscle in a rapid consecutive manner for a certain time frame (usually 30 seconds is ideal for beginners and 1 minute for more advanced players).
PC Muslce - The scientific name for this muscle is Pubococcygeus muscle. This muscle is found in both males and females. It controls the flow of urine, contractions during ejaculation, aids in urinary control, and helps in childbirth (for females).
Point of No Return - During a session of masturbation or sexual encounter, this is the stage where the male can no longer hold back from ejaculation.
Primary Premature Ejaculation - This condition applies to males who have suffered Premature Ejaculation starting from when they became sexually active.
Secondary Premature Ejaculation - This condition applies to males who have had acceptable control over ejaculation in the past; however, at some point later in their lives, they began experiencing Premature Ejaculation.
Start-Stop Method - This method is a way to prevent one from ejaculating prematurely. This technique involves stimulation (with or without a partner) and stopping right before the Point of No Return. After a minute or so, when one’s sexual excitement level has begun to subside–continue to repeat the procedure. For optimal results try to prolong this regimen for about 10 - 15 minutes. This exercise will help strengthen your PC Muscle.
Squeeze Method - This is another method for preventing premature ejaculation. This technique involves stimulation (with or without a partner) and then squeezing the base or the tip of the penis right before the Point of No Return. The base refers to the most bottom portion of the shaft; while the tip refers to the portion right below the head (for circumcised males it is where the foreskin and the shaft meet). After a minute or so, when one’s sexual excitement level has begun to subside–continue to repeat the procedure. For optimal results try to prolong this regimen for about 10 - 15 minutes. This exercise will also help to strengthen your PC Muscle.
